Marc Gasser
Executive Partner / Co-Founder Business Development, IT PMMarc Gasser studied IT and economics at Uppsala University in Sweden and the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He was granted the Philias CSR Award 2006/2007, as well as the semester prize at the University of Zurich for his thesis publication “A Validation of Action Patterns for Project Managers”
Marc Gasser also holds presentations on Innovation Management and Semantic Web Technlogies.
His particular areas of interest include entrepreneurship, semantics, IT project management and corporate responsibility.

Matthias Alder
Executive Partner / Co-Founder Strategy and FinanceWhilst completing his studies in IT and economics at the University of Zurich, Matthias Alder gained valuable practical experience as a software developer for Comartis AG. During this time, he also developed independent IT consulting skills through private project work.
Through an internship at the Technical Architecture division of UBS Wealth Management and Business Banking, Matthias developed specialised knowledge in the inter-relationship of software components in the complex environment of a large organisation. He wrote his master thesis on the “Visualisation of Software Inventory Data”.

Philipp Kräutli
Executive Partner / Co-Founder Technical LeaderPhilipp Kräutli studied IT and economics at the University of Zurich and worked as a software developer for various IT firms before founding Astina.
His particular interest areas lie in requirements engineering, software architecture and database design.

Simon Morger
Executive Partner / Co-Founder Development ManagerSimon Morger completed his studies in Information Technology at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and at the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil. His thesis dealt with the subject “iPhone Interface for a semantic recommender system'.
Before founding Astina, Simon worked as an independent software developer.

Head of Astina Slovenia Senior Project ManagerMiha Gerbec is Head of Astina Slovenia. The certified Scrum Master is working in IT for ten years.
His biggest interest is to expand his view on international IT and startup scene, where he is appreciate the chance to meet and work with some very interesting people.

Dr. Kurt Lambert
President of the BoardAfter completing an economics degree at the University of Texas, Kurt Lambert was awarded his PhD at the university of Lausanne. Kurt Lambert is the president of the executive board of Zegora Investments, member of the advisory board of FTSE Hedge Fund Index and member of the board of trustees of the Africa Foundation.
In 1997 he founded Harcourt Investment Consulting, one of the first companies to enter the Swiss hedge-fund market and which, at the end of 2006, was managing more than 4.5 billion dollars.

Prof. Dr. Conrad Meyer
AdvisorProf. Dr. Conrad Meyer is an ordained professor in economics and Director of the Institute for Accounting and Controlling at the University of Zurich. For many years, he has been involved in advising service and industry organisations, and is a member of the committee of the Swiss GAAP FER as well as several executive boards. His research interests lie in management accounting, financial controlling and problems in business administration. Conrad Meyer is also the author of an extensive number of publications.

Dr. Thomas Billeter
AdvisorDr. Billeter is an experienced professional who has been passionate about the technology industry ever since the early days of the internet. After graduating as an electronics engineer at the ETH in Zurich he has spent the first 6 years of his career developing high performance data networking equipment. After earning an additional Master degree and a PhD in economics, Dr. Billeter spent 6 years McKinsey where he had the chance to consult many large corporations in building their e-businesses in the first years of the roaring internet age. Later on as technology entrepreneur, he has been active in many different business areas, from software to telecoms services and new media. His current engagements include Internet TV, Internet music, linguistic search software, e-commerce services and social media.
